You can add the second account’s inbox to the Favorites section of the Navigation pane. I have them setup in Outlook to see all the inboxes and reply with whatever address they have permission to use, but all copies of the sent items only go to the active/default account the user. This is really so simple and obvious that we need to get this on the feature request list. To switch from the first account to the second, just select its inbox. I have users who have access to multiple inboxes that are shared, as well as their own personal email inbox.
